During the Bosnian War (1992-1995), approximately 25.000 Bosniak women, both young and old, were systematically raped. Those rapes were part of the Republika Srpska’s campaign to drive out Bosniaks, most of whom identified as Muslims.
In this presentation, Amela Skenderović will shed light on this often overlooked chapter of European history, aiming to give a voice to Bosnia’s forgotten victims and survivors.
