Early August 2014, the Yazidi community was subjected to a genocide that claimed thousands of lives, caused the enslavement of women and children still missing to this day, and left lasting trauma.
In 2022, Luxembourg officially recognized these atrocities as genocide.
To commemorate the genocide against the Yazidi community and to honour the women and girls who were abducted, enslaved, and subjected to unimaginable violence, the Kurdish Diaspora Center, in partnership with CID | Fraen an Gender, warmly invite you to an evening of remembrance, reflection, and dialogue.
