Solidarity with the girls*, women*, and their allies in Iran!

The news of the violent death of Zhina “Mahsa” Amini, the imprisonment and death sentences of LGBTIQ+ activists Zahra Sedighi-Hamadani and Elham Choubdar, as well as the killing of countless protesters by the Iranian authorities fills us all with anger and sadness.

We have the greatest respect for the courage and perseverance of the demonstrators in Iran who have been taking to the streets for four weeks now, demanding political and social change that puts women’s* self-determination and rights at the centre.

As a feminist library we can provide you with background information on the current political and societal situation – through a feminist lens.
