Sunday, on 31st of October, we will take back the night!
Meet up: 8pm at Hamilius (in front of the old Post building)
“Take back the night” or “Reclaim the night” campaigns first took place in the 1960s in Belgium and England, denouncing the fear felt by women when they ventured out alone at night.
These demonstrations were introduced to protest against all kinds of harassment against women, and to reclaim the bodily autonomy and space that is often threatened by the fear of male violence.
Women and Non-Binary only event.
