Wou ass d’Fra?

Rapper Nicool performed her song ‘Wou ass d’Fra?’ – a commissioned composition by CID – for the very first time on the stage hosted by CID and Ville de Luxembourg at the Fête de la Musique the 16th June 2023 . As part of the campaign on structural sexism in Luxembourg’s cultural scene earlier this year, CID asked cultural professionals about their experience with sexism and compiled them in an awareness video. In addition to the ladder, we now present a song: based on the collected statements, Nicool wrote a piece in which she addresses the structural dimension of gender-based discrimination in the cultural sector.
